Great dive bar. Exactly what we were looking for. Pizza was good. Service was great. If you're looking for a high-end snooty place this isn't it. This is the kind of place the regulars go to.

Awesome place: 1) Amazing pizzas (my favorite is the boudin pizza and you can get it with caliiflower crust)! 2) amazing sides (fried mushrooms and fried pickles are my fav) 3) the bartenders are great and personable, top notch

Here at the Pastime, we take the safety of our customers, staff, delivery drivers and vendors profoundly serious. We were one of the first establishments to sign up and follow the guidelines of the State of Louisiana's Open Safely Program, many members of the staff and all of management has taken all 4 Covid-19 Safety courses offered by our industries recognized authority on food, environment and building safety through ServSafe. We have been visited by the State Fire Marshall as well as the State Board of Health and passed us with no issues during a routine inspection. We also clean and sterilize all surfaces, all utensils, all dishware, and all areas of the building as well using an FDA approved germicide especially for Covid-19 to fog the building inside and out. In good weather, we offer outside seating, spaced and shielded seating, free masks and gloves at the door and sanitation stations. We take this pandemic serious and make sure we are safe for everyones dining enjoyment.
Thank you Kelly for letting the Google user know that our food can be delivered. At one time we did our own in house delivery but because of the costs we are now using 3rd party delivery services like WAITR and Door Dash.I belive you can also order through UBEREats and Grub Hub.

Hi Mrs. Hammett, At one time we did deliver to Southdowns when we had our own personal delivery service. After 13 years of doing out own delivery, we partnered with GrubHub who agreed at the onset to deliver to our established delivery area. After 10 weeks, GrubHub cut our delivery area down to less than half of our agreed upon areas of delivery, while expanding our competitors delivery area. We cut ties with GrubHub and tried to work with WAITR but at this point, I am sorry to say that we are not offering delivery at all. Hopefully, we can reach an agreement with a 3rd party delivery service and if not, we may restart our own in house delivery service. Thank you for asking and hopefully soon we will be able to serve our customers through delivery once again. Randy
