Food was pretty average and the prices were pretty average the young people taking care of us were very nice and appreciative it was not very busy at all and it seemed a little dark and sparse in there it's not a bad place though I doubt it'll be high on our list to go back to the next trip we have to Leavenworth

Such fantastic food!

Hands down some of, if not THE BEST food I’ve ever had. To top the list: crawfish queso with pork cracklings (damn!), red beans and rice (best ever), fried catfish and shrimp (jam up), seafood pot pie (my gawd… that crust is incredible) and key lime pie (I don’t care for key lime pie, but I liked this so much I ordered some for take home). I tip my hat to the STELLAR KITCHEN. Now… the service: ask for Aspen. She is the best waitress you could possibly have. Attentive, listens well, interacts like you’re long lost friends. Your drinks stay full, she makes certain you’re enjoying what you’re eating, and makes awesome recommendations. She’s the best. She was so great, I had to stop and talk to the manager, Hunter, about the incredible experience. It’s obvious the experience is a reflection of the top down and back up. If you pass through Baton Rouge and don’t eat here, you are doing yourself a disservice. It’s incredible. The flavors coming out of that kitchen, Aspen… I dare you to find a better experience. Update… couldn’t leave the area without visiting again. Had the Pork Chop with Brussels sprouts, and chased all that with a white chocolate raspberry pie. Here’s the thing: I don’t order pork when I dine out because most people serve it tough and/or dry. Not the case here. It was awesome! I don’t care for white chocolate either, but, since I’m not a fan of key lime pie and I LOVED theirs, I tried it. It’s jam up! I would totally get all the above again. And, the service provided by Izzy was stellar! Very attentive, bubbly personality, great recommendations… you couldn’t ask for better attention. Again, you have to visit this place!

Yes, but it's a small seating area, so if they can take reservations, I'd do that just to be safe
The employees are doing their best- they wear masks and seat people 6ft from each other. It's the rude customers not wearing masks and moving into strangers' spaces that cause the issues. I've been 3 times in the last 3 months- once for dine in and twice for pick up.
They do see whole pies. But...call ahead to ask what pies they have that day. They rotate different ones.
I'm sure if I got a Gambinos king cake mailed to California you could make it happen. Find someone that loves you unconditionally and ask them to order some to go and have a fridge truck on stand by... or barter... tell "Elsie" if she send the pies you'll send OG Phily cheese steaks and "BOOM" THE POT PELLE CHEESE STEAK PIE WAS BORN!
Yes
I do not think they ship
They aren't seating anyone on the patio at this time. It's used as a socially distanced waiting area.
They are very accommodating. Not sure about on the menu.
I don't think so either. They not setup for something like that
Yes there is a parking lot across the street from Elsie's. Most cars park there because the parking lot nearest the restaurant is very small and usually full. It wouldn't be suitable for an RV, so your only option would be to use the lot across the street.

I would recommend making reservations for a larger party, especially if you're going for dinner. They're usually pretty busy then.
