Glad that they have a time frame that the bridge can raise thus preventing such a huge traffic jam due to Belle Chasse Highway (La. 23) being the main road in and out of Plaquemines parish.

This bridge will be no longer in about a year in a half. I work for Traylor/Massman construction and we are building a new bridge that will carry both ways of traffic. I can't say for sure how it will impact the traffic. I have heard that it will be a toll bridge. Ikw that sux bit just remember that the company and the workers have nothing to do with the toll, so please don't attack us workers about it plz!!! We are just trying to make money to take care of our families!!!! God Bless:))))
