Update since my last review. They asked how they could go from 3 to 5 but they went from 3 to 1. The worst. From my experience, trust is very impont. I trusted my former attorney matthew ellis, who is with Batson and Nolin. He was recommended to me by a longtime friend . Who owns multiple properties in Clarksville. Our original attorney who did the closing and worked for my friend in the past was Austin Peay. But he wasn't in practice. My eviction took 11months, back in 2015 but I wasn't experienced, I trusted my attorney because I trusted my friend. Then jan 2020, I required him to help me to remove a false lien on my property. Turns out anyone can easily put one on your property, not so easy to remove. I took the defendant to civil court in the mean time waiting on my attorney. Judge gave me a judgement, stated its a false lien. I did that on my own. However, I still need a circuit or chancy court judge to order it removed. Matthew Ellis , failed to file paperwork and select a court date over and over and over. I took off every Friday, keeping them open, because he tell me he pick a date but never did. He told me he contributed to the originally assigned judge campaign fund and he wanted that judge, never happened. He said just wait 10days his new wife is leaving our office. He still never set a date. Over and over till , I finally get a message saying he's not a trail lawyer, that he's gonna get me another lawyer and he's gonna FILL OUT SOME PAPER WORK and then send to me, turned out to be another lie, it had been filled out 2 days before and I had a court date finally, but to remove himself. After court I got a court date using the same docket for the case. I can't wait to get another attorney, and I already tried before. I'm tired. This is a simple case, but he's made it stressful and hard and I'm going to share my story and say I gave him 2years on this being patient. Even my Google review 11 months ago with 3 stars, they asked me then how they could make me happy. I said I was still waiting. Oh, and ya he didn't want to be embarrassed and have this in court cause he kept calling me, asking me in court to agree that he stinks and should be removed. I didn't get my say in a court hearing about it either. So, I will share my review , and hope nobody has to go through what I have. Real estate, Estate planing and settlements you need someone you can trust. I dont recommend Matthew Ellis. I really believe there's good attorneys out there, but you just got to be delegent.

My girlfriend hasn't been able to get a court date to remove lien off home, because her lawyer never bother to set a date and dragged it on for 2 years. Causing her so much stress, she kept her fridays open, when he gave her 4 dates, then never followed through. He's cost her time, money, and stress. The disposition states itself this lien is costing her money, by not setting a court date, he was just as responsible as the defendant and in after thought may have been doing it purposely, because it made no sense since it been assigned a judge for a year. So, I would never use them.

This firm strung me along for months. They said they would do things and didn't, unreturned calls, poor and unprofessional service

Called inquiring about a landlord/tenant dispute and eviction case. Per their website, that is an area they cover, but was told by receptionist that they "don't do tenant cases." Need to update the website I think.

Questions & Answers

If a realtor sell my house and my new house is not finished, do i have to move? I have not closed on either property. Also realtor says i need to close on my loan before my new house is finished? This doesn’t sound right.

A hen house has been built in our Glenstone Springs Subdivision. This goes against our Subdivision Codes that we once had to follow when Bob Batson would patrole to keep it a beautiful place to live. We feel this needs attention.
