There's only a couple of places to park under a tree shade. The rest of the parking lot is subject to the sun. Good place to take your dog for a swim.

Great place to take puppers for walk or just walk yourself....this path is unpaved unlike on opposite side if river, which I like. It feels more like deeper in nature cause there is no asphalt

The Spokane River Recreation Area at Harvard Road is managed by Washington State Parks (509) 465-5064. It is posted for use 6:00 AM to dusk.
