The only thing that kept me from a 5 star was the early morning rising, to get a seat on the only shuttle available. Why have only one, when there are several Hotel guest needing pickup. The room though dated was clean. The front desk service was professional and all the ladies were friendly and helpful. The location was in the Chicago Midway hotel plaza. If this isn't a way to keep all the visitors in one area....

This hotel is good for a one night stay but nothing more. The day we checked in, the hotel maintenance had done a deep cleaning of all the carpets in the rooms but we didn’t know that and walked into soaking wet carpet and obviously it’s not a good feeling to be walking on that. We told the front desk and later a guy came with a fan to dry it but of course that was no help at all. Breakfast was good at the bistro. If you need the airport shuttle, make sure you stand outside or else they’ll leave without even stopping and you’ll end up waiting longer than 20 minutes as it comes every 20 minutes. The first time the shuttle completely passed the hotel without stopping so we waited an extra 20 minutes (40 minutes total) so be prepared for that. So like I said, it’s only good for a one night stay.

The stay was good. Clean rooms! At check out they charged my room on my friends credit card! I gave them my credit card and she swiped it. Now I owe my friend for the room. Not going to get my travel points. Since they did swipe my card, I now have to watchforfor suspicious charges! Not a happy customer. And no one seems to be able to help with Marriott customer service!

If you're in Chicago for an extended stay this is not the place. We ended our stay 5 days early and moved to another Marriott 30 minutes away. The bad, not so clean and the cable stopped working. The good, it's by a lot of great food places.
