NEVER EVER EVER get this insurance if you have the choice! Had to get through my employer. The worst happened to me - ended up getting cancer. They've been denying my claims for care. Won't even cover a PET scan to see if tumors spread. Can't wait to see what they won't cover next! This company will gladly kill you for a nickel. Run far away. Only plus: the customer service associates I’ve talked to have been kind and helpful

So every medication that is prescribed to me needs to be authorized by connecticare’s horrible prescription system. Drugs that are normal treatments for a chronic condition. Then I go all the way to the pharmacy they make me use and it’s not there. I get home and they’ve authorized it after not having it for 2 weeks. If you have a choice do not get this insurance. I used to have Harvard Pilgrim and they were 100 x better.

The simple answer to that is Good Luck, they don’t cover anything and don’t care
It will depend on the prescription. Ask the pharmacy to check and compare with a discount card like GoodRX. I've found that half the time the discount coupon is a better price. Of course when I use GoodRX no money goes towards my insane deductible.

There's no dedicated line for Spanish but there are Spanish employees who can speak to you if your is answered by one. If not then a Spanish interpretor will be brought in to interpret for you.

Walgreens and CVS are most preferred. Others also use Rite Aid
Yes. You have to get that through Access Health CT then Connecticare will give you the coverage
