Pine Woods Animal Hospital has some of the most honest, diligent and caring staff in the area. When I told them my cat was losing function of her hindlegs, minutes later the vet told me they want me in for X-rays that very day. They told me what was wrong, prescribed the right medication, taught me how to take care of my injured cat including how to hold her, how to apply physical therapy, offered acupuncture. They call me once or twice a week to check on her condition, they were good about answering questions within a day or two. There's hope for my cat because they didn't jump straight to: she needs to be put down. The price of the examinations, X-rays and medication so far without pet insurance is around $800. Ouch yes, but in comparison to other vets for the situation we are facing, this is understandable.
