I went to Ms. Hynes with some anxiety and other issues. She gave me the tools to cope and guided me toward personal discoveries that enhanced my life. She's a great listener and offers intuitive insights. I highly recommend her for anyone suffering from similar problems.

I started seeing her for transgender related therapy and told her at our first meeting that my goals were to be authorized to start testosterone and eventually get top surgery. i saw her for months and my parents put a lot of money towards my sessions, all for her to tell me at the end that she isn't qualified to write my approval letters and I'd have to go see someone else. She also blatantly laughed at me when I expressed a very valid concern regarding a disorder I might have, which was both alarming and upsetting. What kind of therapist laughs at their patient? If you're considering seeing her, especially for trans-related support and services, DO NOT!! Waste of money. I think she does have good intentions, but all she ever did for me was give me a massive mistrust of mental health professionals.

Have left messages through email and have called for 3 weeks no response it’s unfortunate , seems like she would have been a good fit after reading her bio for our daughter

Hi, Sorry, not currently accepting Univera. A sliding scale is offered, depending on income for those whose insurance is not accepted. - Nicole Hynes
