This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a commercial pool supply store. The manager Danielle helped me with all paperwork to get the account open very fast. My first visit I was helped by a gentleman I believe named Eric he helped me at the counter then helped me get a 55 gallon barrel. This was the smoothest and fastest transaction I have had at a supply store. I will only be going to baystate for my supplies going forward. I would rate them as zero if possible. Baystate Pool Supplies, is the distributer of the Merlin Liner that was used by my pool contractor. My original liner was replaced at the end of last summer and the pool was closed immediately. My last liner was 15 years old before it needed to be replaced. This brand new liner has been leaking all summer and I have had 3 pool companies come to evaluate it including 2 pressure tests and 6 patched placed and it continues to leak. I called Merlin in NJ and they will not deal with a customer directly and referred me to Baystate who also will not deal with the customer. My costs for this fiasco has already been over $1600 without resolution. I called Baystate and spoke with Michelle who after hearing my story indicated that they will not deal with the pool customer and after an entire summer of aggrevation my tone was not to her liking and she would not continue the conversation. Never use this company.

The guy who sits at the first desk in the office who answers the phone is very rude. I really suggest to get someone more helpful and enthusiastic to answer the phone. The guy also didn’t know what a barbed fitting was. Said he didn’t understand my terminology?

Whoever answers the phones isn’t allowed to speak to people? Try to make some sense of that. They just hang up on you. Horrible service.
