From the ease of making an appointment to his very attentive staff, I would (and have) recommend Dr. Ibrahimi to anyone. He gave me confidence in the procedure and the outcome was great.

Dr Ibrahimi's professionalism is grossly lacking. I had Moh's surgery performed by him. He felt that I wasn't amenable to his nurse simply because I asked to speak to him directly after the biopsy was checked. That is fair when you are having surgery on your face and they are cutting layer after layer. This apparently was offensive to the nurse. She called Dr. Ibrahimi out in the hallway and had an extremely personal off color exchange with him that did not have anything to do with what I did or said. His response was to ask me to leave without closing the wound. There was no medical reason to respond in this manner. He actually wanted me to leave the office and try to find a plastic surgeon asap to close up. I had to beg him to close as I was concerned about the timing and healing process. I was shocked that this man had a medical degree. It was obscene behavior. I have contemplated reporting him to the board. I have never encountered that level of cruel and unprofessional behavior in many years of medical care for myself and my family. It was truly appalling and unethical. My hope is that he reads this and never again treats someone in that manner. A doctor"s first priority should be their patient not their ego.

Dr Ibrahimi is the most talented dermatologist and I can’t recommend him highly enough! There is absolutely no other Dr. I would trust with my skin! Before finding Dr. Ibrahimi, my skin journey with was long, filled with painful procedures and stress… I developed acne scars after a sudden bout with acne. While I was able to clear up my cystic acne finding a doctor who had the expertise to treat to my scars was another story. I had no idea how challenging it would possibly be. I did my homework and I only sought out board certified dermatologists and plastic surgeons. I found out the hard way that in the world of scars and lasers, that is not enough as after 1.5 years of treatments, my scarring not only didn’t improve but actually got worse. After more research of doctors, I found Dr Ibrahimi and he advised me up front that the fraxel was the laser for my scarring. After a series of treatments, I can definitely say my scars have improved immensely to the point where they are barely visible. Aside from Dr. Ibrahimi’s talent, his great bedside manner and amazing staff have made my experience as a patient the best!

Dr. Omar Ibrahimi is not only the most skilled cosmetic/laser surgeon in CT, but he's also the most considerate, honest, and ethical Doctor I've met in aesthetics. I've been visiting Dr. Ibrahimi on and off for the past 4-5 years, beginning my appointments with laser genesis to correct lingering post-acne hyperpigmentation and the results from his office were incredibly effective and the bedside manners of his staff were very hospitable and warm. One thing that sets Dr. Ibrahimi apart from other Cosmetic Doctors, aside from his professionalism and skill, is that he does not push or coax you into getting procedures done that he feels you don't need, which is more telling of the sincerity in his practice and his genuine approach to understanding the needs and wants of his patient, while never taking advantage or exploiting those insecurities for financial gain. A few years ago I had gone in for a botox consultation, and he didn't exploit those insecurities I was feeling, but instead explained to me in a very kind way why I didn't need it just yet and that my face was fine for now. If this were another doctor or medispa, I'm one hundred percent positive they not only would have agreed that I needed the treatment, but would have encouraged an overabundance of units. Dr. Ibrahimi is the opposite of those "professionals". He doesn't want you leaving his office feeling worse or insecure about your appearance, and that's reflective of the mentally healthful ethics he imbues in his practice, which ironically, feels counterintuitive to the world of aesthetics. I've received two treatments of lip fillers (Juvederm XC) so far, and soon I have my third appointment, and I'm so satisfied with the results that I refuse to have anyone else touch my face. He accommodates the dimensions of your face, as oppose to recklessly filling in spots to fit a generic image that you often see on social media. He wants you to still resemble you, but only enhanced, yet still natural looking, not plastic or frozen. I've recommended him to family and friends over the years and will continue to.

Hello- without knowing your specific circumstances, here are a few general suggestions to tackle dry skin. Take warm showers vs hot showers. Try to apply moisturizer immediately after washing. Try not to use lotions, it's better to use an ointment or cream. Perhaps try adding moisture into the air by using a humidifier. If it gets very severe, you should consider seeing a board certified dermatologist. Hope you feel better! Let us know if you need to schedule a consultation. 203-428-4440. Please note this is not medical advice speaking to your specific issue(s).
