Appreciated the nurse who seemed to listen to my concerns. The nurse practitioner seemed fixated on COVID and when later I was negative seemed more helpful to addressing my issue but I am still not feeling any better after taking medicine. Didn’t give a timeline if I didn’t feel well when to come back. Didn’t offer doctors note for work.

I had a terrible migraine, one of my worst and they were very thoughtful . I was seen almost immediately and they kept the lights low so I knew right away they understood migraines. Im not sure how one fakes a migraine or would spend all that time and money in an ER just to get one injection but apparently there are because I’ve been treated quite unsympathetically at other facilities . As soon as I say I need to be seen for a migraine they have done everything but come right out and accuse me of “drug seeking “. I believe medical personnel should be more informed on migraines and the pain and misery they cause some people. The Dr here was wonderful, did the usual check for neurological issues and then asked me if I was nauseous as well. By the time I got home I was already feeling better ! Thank you….you’re wonderful

I took my six year old in for an x-ray to rule out fracture after a fall at school two days prior. She ended up not having any fractures. The PA was wonderful with her. Still wrapped her arm and talked with her about keeping her wrist safe from falls for a few more days. We made the appointment same day, we were in and out within and hour. The front desk staff and radiology staff were amazing as well! We have six kids and will never take them to any other urgent care if we can help it.

Was very impressed with the care and service That my daughter and I received while attending via Christie immediate care. The staff were all so sweet and kind. They made sure to make us feel comfortable and were so caring to my sick baby. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who work so hard (especially on Sundays) & those who took care of us. Your time, patience and care doesn’t go un-appreciated!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help.

By staying home when you or a loved one is ill and washing your hands regularly, you can help keep yourself and your children healthy.
If you think your child has RSV or bronchiolitis, it is important to keep your child hydrated and monitor for fever or shortness of breath. Contact your child’s doctor, who can test for RSV and provide recommendations to keep your child safe at home. If your child’s health situation is serious or life-threatening, go to the nearest ER or call 911.
Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, may appear like a bad cold to adults. For infants or young children, RSV can cause bronchiolitis -- a virus which causes swelling and an increase in mucus in the airway. This can cause difficulty breathing through their nose and eventually dehydration due to difficulty latching to the breast or bottle for infants. Other symptoms of RSV may include a fever or a very wet sounding cough, which can turn into coughing fits. Those coughing fits can cause a child to gag and potentially vomit.
We are following local and state government and health department guidelines for COVID-19 vaccine distribution. For the first doses of vaccine available, front-line healthcare workers have been prioritized. As vaccine appointments are made available in your community, additional information will be shared. Answers to frequently asked questions can be found on our website at ascension.org.
If someone is experiencing severe mental distress, care shouldn’t be delayed. A person experiencing a mental health crisis should go directly to the emergency room or call 911. ERs at Ascension hospitals are open 24/7, offering compassionate care for urgent mental health crisis intervention. And rest assured that safety precautions are in place to help protect patients and families.
While you don’t need an appointment at our Immediate Care and walk-in locations, you have the option of scheduling your visit online. You can select a time in the next 24 hours at a location that’s close to you, then wait in the comfort of your home.
Our Immediate Care clinics offer online check-in for patients so you can wait somewhere you feel more comfortable or walk in anytime.
Our Immediate Care clinics are ready to provide the care patients need in one place. Lab and imaging are available onsite.
We have fully staffed Immediate Care clinics to take care of your needs and to help reduce the time from door to doctor.
Because we’re more than Immediate Care, we can connect you to the follow-up care that’s right for you. We have a large network of specialists and a broad range of care options, so you can find a doctor that meets your needs.
Typically an Immediate Care visit will cost less than an ER visit, but this may depend on many factors, such as insurance coverage and/or the services required to address your health needs. Your co-pay and out-of-pocket costs at an Immediate Care clinic are typically much less than what you are charged at the emergency room.
Our caregivers at our Immediate Care clinics treat common, non life-threatening, minor illnesses and injuries, including allergies, fever, severe sore throat, allergic reactions, asthma, cuts, back pain, minor burns and rash, bug and animal bites, cold and flu symptoms, sinus pain and ear infections, headaches, muscle sprains, strains and swollen joints, strep throat, pink eye, and UTI (urinary tract infections).
Ascension Online Care is available 24/7 when and where you need urgent care. If you can’t talk to your regular doctor, or if you need care more quickly, you can video chat with a doctor 24/7 through Ascension Online Care using your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Download Ascension Online Care from the App Store or Google Play or visit ascension.org/onlinecare to learn more.
Our Immediate Care teams are comprised of doctors, APRNs (advanced practice registered nurses) nurse practitioners and nurses.
When you need care more immediately and your regular doctor isn’t available, you may be trying to decide between Immediate Care or an emergency room. For life-threatening emergencies and serious illness or injury, such as shortness of breath, chest pain, open fractures or severe bleeding, go to an emergency room. When you need care for minor illness or injury, such as allergies, fevers, cuts without severe bleeding that may need stitches or a severe sore throat, and your doctor isn’t available, seek Immediate Care. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, go directly to the ER or dial 9-1-1.
