I’ve been going to North Hills Vet for about 30 years… when they were over at Raleys in Golden Valley. I can’t get my pets in for basic appointment for 10 weeks. When they answer the phone they say” is this a medical emergency or can I put you on hold” , when you tell them it’s an emergency, they tell you we can’t take an emergency. Then why ask? Over the past couple of years the quality of service and care has gone downhill. Two veterinarians have recently left. Your just a number, no more personal attention. What happened? Bummer after 30 years we’re taking our pets elsewhere for better care, and where they remember you name. Sincerely, Peter D Etcheverry

Dr. Gonzalez and Dr. Lambert have helped me and my babies. There has been quite a few. Some are now Resting In Peace. Their sincere love for our animals and us is remarkable. My Kitty Krem is still with us. ;)

I don't know about a cat but my dog was around 50 I think ?
Dr. Brown is excellent with exotic pets. She sees rats frequently. Hope to see you soon.
No idea on either question but Im sure if you called during working hours they could help. Staff is very friendly.
Dr. Brown is AMAZING with exotics and very knowledgeable, she can help you out! I recommend calling beforehand to set up and appointment, although they do take walk ins, there is a walk in fee and you want to make sure you at least call ahead that day to make sure Dr. Brown is in and has time to see an exotic pet that day! :)
An exam is $52.50 for a cat or dog of any age.
Emergency...no. Routine service, yes, an appointment is needed. However, call the clinic and the techs are really great working you in to their schedule.
I'm sorry, but we do not offer boarding at this time.
We do have a doctor who can help with reptiles. Give us a call 775-972-5566 for an appointment.
I dont know if they do but they are more than fair with thier pricing. You could call them and find out.
She probably ate something? Check her 💩 see if any comes out? No Hills Vet has been Good to me & my Pittie who has epilepsy, allergies, and ear infections! Definitely appreciate them 😃😃
Yes, we do, as often as possible. Depending on the urgency of the emergency, there may be a waiting period until a doctor is available, but we try to keep that as short as possible. There is an additional $15 emergency fee. If we are unable to service your needs in a timely manner, we may recommend other qualified veterinarians.
Many dogs eat things their bodies can't digest. Sometimes these items pass, but if they don't, they can block your pet's digestive system, leading to sickness or death. If you suspect blockage, call the clinic immediately. We can perform X-rays to determine if there is a blockage. If your pet's system is blocked, the doctor can discuss surgery or other options to bring your pet back to health.
Yes.
The cost can vary depending on the age of the dog as well as the options you choose. I was able to have my 2 yr old Chorkie neutered for a very resonable cost. Highly recommend them.
