If you enjoy wine, in moderation, of course, you need to try the unique experience Basin and Range Cellars. New owner Craig will give you a virtual walking tour as he serves you his pride and joy - five or six flights of the most unique grapes you have ever tasted! We came on a Friday night and had a delightful time, learning about these unique hybrid grapes which grow in our hearts Nevada climate. As I mentioned previously, each one has a very unique, Battle Born Nevada okay and taste. Starting off with the whites, he'll learn about the vineyard and how the grapes are grown. Make sure Craig shows you the picture of the vineyard under snow! You'll never have an experience like this in Napa or Amador County! Highly recommended!

Recently I had the opportunity to meet Wade and sample his wines. He is knowledgeable, friendly and a perfect host. What can I say? His wines are excellent and we bought several. His unique bubbly is a must try & buy. We also bought the Rose, and this purchase from a husband who normally won't drink Rose'. The reds are very special and should not be missed. Did I mention the white or the dessert wine? Ok, just go for a tasting but I warn you, bring your credit card because you are going to want to take some home! Cheers!

Who knew that right in our own backyard such a gem exists? Their Rose’ is exceptionally refreshing on a warm summer day. If red is your game, then check out their Frontenac, which is similar to a Malbec, but truly has a taste all it’s own. You’ll have to visit to taste their other delicious wines and choose your favorites. Knowing that all the wines are made using 100% Nevada grapes makes me want to purchase again and again and support Wade at Basin and Range Cellars.

Hi Jean, yes there are. We’re just building our distribution business so there’s not many yet however. If you’re in Reno proper near downtown Great Basin Community Food Co-op has a couple of our wines.
Yes ma'am! Our tasting room in Reno is actually on the same premise as the winery and we would be happy to show you our production area, barrel storage, lab etc. See you then!
