Every Drury that I have stayed at are well kept and beautiful inside. The rooms are adorned with beautiful tile floors and nice carpeting. Each room comes with a refrigerator, microwave, and a coffeemaker. The beds are very firm with a soft pillow top, lending itself to a phenomenal night’s sleep. Every morning offers traditional breakfast items that most hotel chains offer with some exceptions. They have eggs, sausage, country potatoes, biscuits and gravy, and excellent waffles. Each evening, from 5:30 to 7:00 they have what’s called a Kickback. Here, they give you three (3) drinks, which are included in the cost of your stay. You can order whiskey, vodka, gin, beer, as well as mixed drinks. Additionally, they serve hot food such as bbq pork sliders, chicken penne alfredo, meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy, nachos, and hot dogs. Each hotel has a guest laundry, workout room, meeting room, and a pool that is both indoors and outdoors. By the time you subtract what it would cost you for three (3) drinks and two meals, the room ends up being just at or slightly below a hundred dollars ($100.00). Pro tip: get the app and book directly through the app. Check in is easier and you acquire points. Eventually, you can use your points for a free stay with all the amenities. I stayed in room 610 on August 2nd, 2022 and used 20,000 points for a free stay. When I say free, I mean FREE. Excellent stay; I highly recommend it.

This is a great place. I am usually a comfort inn and suites girl but the Drury was very nice and I might be making a switch! Great service, good breakfast with what seems to be real eggs, nightly food and drinks, great little indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub and pool (closes at 10), clean hallways. A great visit.

A+. When I travel to Des Moines again this will be the only hotel I ever stay at. Superb staff. Everyone was very friendly. The kitchen team was amazing. Front desk was so polite and helpful when we were looking for area activities. The housekeeping team was great! Great staff is hard to come by but this hotel has some of the best I have seen in a few years. Rooms and hotel were very clean. The kids love the pool, and they always had fresh clean towels ready. Great job! We had a wonderful stay!
