Chris is an exceptional acupuncturist. He's thorough, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. My sacrum was painful when I walked in and I walked out of Balance Wellness pain-free. I'm fortunate to have found him. Make an appointment.

So I’ve had acupuncture done with the help of a Chris a few times now, and am so glad with the decision to get work done by him. The initial session to me was straight to the point (Identify symptoms and where you feel like you could use some work on) Personally where I work entails sitting at a desk for several hours - so I get acupuncture done for holistic relief from eye strain, shoulder and arm strain, and a tight jaw. Then it’s time for the healing in a quiet room and allow for let the needles to do their work. It almost feels like I’m waking on a cloud after the session! But not to where I feel out of it, more like everything including my body feels lighter. I’ve added cupping too for maximum relief! I always feel grateful for people who do this kind of work because I think it really makes a difference in this modern day world, and am glad there’s services that Chris offers that provide a holistic approach for healing, without the unnecessary side effects that is a part of modern medicine! I would recommend to anyone curious or interested in finding relief from stress, pain, physical ailments, etc.

It sure does! Acupuncture helps with stress and anxiety by calming the nervous system, and over time strengthens your ability to get out of "fight or flight" and stay in "rest and digest."
Yes he does.
He is located here in Austin.
We sure do! We utilize an integrative approach, meaning treatments for sleep issues and insomnia are all natural and completely customized to the individual needs of our patient.
Yes! Cupping therapy is a great modality for treating pain when the cause (or part of the cause) is due to tight muscles. Cupping can bring fresh blood flow to tissue that has been "stuck," allowing it to finally relax and heal. Most people find it super relaxing too!
