Haven't even ever been in this build and already got struck with the rudeness by staff. I called the Spartanburg location this morning 10-6-2022 at 9:59 am(so for any managers reading), whomever is working the phone needs to have a talking to and most definitely needs to either be retrained or sent to a seminar for customer service(or both). I hate when people act/talk/use facial expressions that are horrible and seem like they are miserable/offended for DOING THEIR JOB!!!!!!! Life is too short for people to be miserable. The little things in life are what make the misery bearable but don't be the one to add more to it. And i get it we are human and not perfect, so I get if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed or someone peepeed in your cornflakes but please just be grateful that you have a job and woke up breathing, God bless & I'll be praying.

My experience with CSL has ALWAYS BEEN PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUSLY TREATED. BUT ALSO PERSONAL. THE STAFF IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY. IVE BEEN TO THE OTHER PLASMA CENTER AND THIS ONE BY FAR IS THE BEST!! FOR A PLEASANT DONATION I RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE!! NATALIE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND 😄

Actually the very first donation if you're brand new it's $50 as of lately then it's $75 on the second donation
$50 for the first 5 visits. Then $20 on the first donation of the week and $40 on your second donation of the week. Plus bonuses!

As far as I know, 880ml is the highest platelet count you can donate. I go twice a week and donate 880ml every time. If you want a more direct and accurate answer, I suggest giving them a call and they would be more than happy to answer and of your questions. Current ID and SS card. If u do not reside at the address on your ID then you must provide a piece of mail that has been mailed to your residence in the last 30 days. No junk mail. Also your names must match identically on your ID and SS card

Depends how tolerable you are of needles. Pumping your hand while the blood is being sucked out, I find to have a slight stinging sensation, but that's about it. Bring a blanket with you because the saline going in you will make you feel like you're in a fridge. If you need somewhere to put your belongings, there's a small cube holder under the bed you'll be laying on. They will give you a card where your money will be deposited, and you can check the balance in the tiny room where the vendor is. Remember your pin, it's in the papers with the card. You can donate I think they said every 2 days. Drink a good amount of water the day before and the day of donation. Make sure you eat at least 1-2 hours before. Also, it's a good idea to purchase a snack from the vendor right after or you'll feel like passing out if you don't eat after 2 hours of donating. They have wifi if you want to be on your phone using your arm not being injected. They closed today due to an outbreak btw.
2nd donation. Just make sure you get all your donations out before the 30 days are up or you will miss those excellent bonuses!!
If your address thats on your Identification is your current residence you will be fine. If its different, you need mail in your name mailed to you within the last 30 days. It can be a letter, or something to show residence. W2 form.etc. It doesnt have to be a bill. It can also be a lease.

Not sure who is paying more, however the only place I'm aware of around is paying just the same. Otherwise your going to travel atleast an hour and I've been told they won't take donations that aren't from local residents. But as far as pay, if somewhere else is giving more, I'd love to know, I like money and of course I'd go somewhere with better incentives!
It is 100 first 3 donations then 50 for several and 100 on 8th. But you are not New donor if you already been there in Charlotte
They go by weight but the first 5 times without missing is 60 dollars I believe. Dont quote me on that though

They just changed their payouts. I also think it is based on your weight. When I first began going it was 50 for the first 5 visits. That was a bit ago.
Your blood pressure will be checked before donating. If it's too high, you'll have to wait 15 minutes and have a recheck. If it's still too high you'll get deferred for that day. They do not want to put your life in jeopardy!
If you have given at least 2 donations "a qualified donor" you should be able to donate at other centers. But you may need to speak to a staff member to have them "transfer" your records before you can log in the kiosk.

One complexity to add is that there must be a week between the next "set" of donations. Example: if you donate on Thursday and Sunday... the next week you can't donate on Wednesday. You can move to Friday and still do Sunday... but once you do this you can't move back to Thursday (or any other day) without skipping a donation.
