Please visit the State Veterans Cemetery. When you enter from the main gate of the cemetery, keep right. You will see the Chapel, on your right. If you are facing the chapel and walk around it's right side, you will find a self service marker locator.

The state veterans cemetery has a locater on their website. There is also a search computer at the veterans cemetery in Middletown main building.

Yes they are open for burial.

Park across from the cemetery in the parking lot behind the Battell building. Show up at 11:30

Contact the administration for the V.A. Cemetery

They have a small Memorial room/chaplet with a pedistol. It's usually up to you. Bring ashes at schedule time they give you about 15min. Then the staff will take ashes to the nisch and insert ashes. After that they will call you over to pay last respect and you can leave flowers at bottom of nisch wall. I don't think nobody is there to do service unless you ask or bring your own clergy. We did my father same way ashes.

It's ok to stick in ground. And at the Niches/ uprights have hollow post in the ground in line with each veritcal row of the walls for small stem.we left plastic flowers my Dad's.

Anyone can go. That you invite. There is no list. Just have to be there on the schedule time thou
