After two back surgeries over the past 10 years, I have always been dealing with a lot of pain (back, nerve, hip). Surgeons talk about surgery - that’s it! Last year, I was in so much pain I made another visit to the Neuro surgeon. I was told the next surgery will not be an easy one because I was already fused from L3-L5, and then had to be fused from S1 to L5. At no time was I offered any advice on how I was suppose to live with everyday pain. I wasn’t only looking medication, I just wanted to be able to live a day without pain or to perform basic household chores with a manageable amount of pain. After meeting with Dr. Alamarie, I felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Alamarie immediately diagnosed a few different problems I was experiencing that was adding to my pain levels. A little over a month since I met Dr. Alamarie, I am not totally pain free, but I can tell you that I actually have some days without pain and I am noticing that i am able complete basic chores without unbearable pain. “No Pain Meds”! You will not be disappointed with Dr Alamarie!

Dr. A., Erin, and the rest of the team here are hands down amazing. I've had chronic chest wall pain for nearly 7 years and they offered a 2 pronged approach to get me pain free. The personalized approach and patient care are top notch! Highly recommend!

What is platelet rich plasma therapy?

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a substance that’s thought to promote healing when injected. Plasma is a component of your blood that contains special “factors,” or proteins, that help your blood to clot. It also contains proteins that support cell growth. Researchers have produced PRP by isolating plasma from blood and concentrating it. The idea is that injecting PRP into damaged tissues will stimulate your body to grow new, healthy cells and promote healing. Because the tissue growth factors are more concentrated in the prepared growth injections, researchers think the body’s tissues may heal faster. The treatment hasn’t been definitively proven. It also hasn’t been approved as a treatment by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). However, famous athletes have been known to use these injections to help heal injuries. https://www.healthline.com/health/prp

No pain clinic will because of people doctor shopping who are seeking drugs when they have no legit pain. First they do a drug screen. They usually need time to review records and may order additional tests. They need proof you are in pain. Pain can be very complex especually when you have multiple causes. You may need multiple pain medications. They are started one at a time and increased one at a time until they find what works. Its unrealalistic to expect to be pain free even after several visits. You need to have patients and expect it to take time.
