Close to the road, but I was the only person there so that was nice.

We crashed here at midnight when all the hotels were packed. Lovely spot, super clean and kept up. Great price too!

It's a good stop-over primitive campground. Not designed for extended camping, it did serve its purpose perfectly for one night of inexpensive sleep. The only thing that could be better is if there were more deciduous trees to shade the sites.

$5 a night? Clean campsites? Fresh pine air? Yep, yep, and yep. Local residents across the highway's dogs? Loud and continuous. Jake braking trucks? Plentiful and just yards away. All things considered, I would camp here again as an overnight stop.
