I'm so fortunate to have worked with Rebecca during pregnancy and postpartum! Rebecca is extremely skilled and knowledgable, and is a fantastic question-asker, listener, and collaborator. During both pregnancy and postpartum, she did an excellent job sleuthing out the causes of my pain and providing me with individualized, effective solutions. Drawing on a sound understanding of my body and my athletic goals, she encouraged me while also helping me set realistic expectations. I also really appreciated Rebecca's online birth prep class. Having a higher baseline knowledge from the course helped to get more out of our in-person sessions. I'm now that person who encourages all her pregnant friends to do pelvic floor PT during pregnancy and postpartum. Rebecca's guidance was invaluable for staying strong and active as my body changed rapidly during pregnancy, and for learning how to use body positioning and relaxation effectively during labor. Even as birth is wildly unpredictable, those things gave me confidence that I'd done what I could to facilitate a smoother labor--which in turn meant I'd done as much as possible to set myself up for an easier recovery. Finally, post-baby, Rebecca's guidance helped me to gradually and safely return to the activities I love.

I started working with Jessica during my second pregnancy, my goals were to prevent tearing and strengthen pelvic floor. The exercises were really personalized and worked great for me. I am 4 months postpartum now and don’t have any problems from pregnancy/delivery, I would 100% work with LB PT again to have a good pregnancy/pp experience!

I can say personally that Jessica is such a wonderful physical therapist and person! She’s very knowledgeable and shows passion in her field. She builds great rapport with her patients, very professional and makes you feel like you a lifelong friend. I wouldn’t come to anyone else but her in the world of pelvic health! Absolutely amazing!

Questions & Answers

My OB didn't give me a referral. Can I still come in?

In the state of Texas, you can see a physical therapist without a referral for 10 days. At that time, we will need a referral to continue care. If you do not have a referral, you can come in for your initial appointment and we can help contact your provider to get the referral sent over!

Are masks required?

Yes. Patients are staff are both required to wear a mask covering their mouth and nose at all times while in the clinic. We also ask that patients wait in their car until the time of their appointment to limit time spent in the waiting area.

Does seeing you during pregnancy make sense? Or just postpartum?

Absolutely! There is so much that we can do during pregnancy to help reduce the risk of common symptoms like urinary incontinence and diastasis recti postpartum. We can also help you modify exercise during pregnancy so you can stay active, talk you through training your body for birth and things like perineal massage, and help set appropriate expectations and timelines for postpartum recovery while creating a personalized plan to help you keep feeling your best!
