i was here in 2021 for addiction along with borderline personality disorder. they claimed they could help me with both, but they have no idea what theyre doing when it comes to other mental health disorders. i was stigmatized and when all the other girls in the house excluded me from their conversations, watching tv, etc., none of the staff said ANYTHING. this obviously brought out some of my borderline personality disorder symptoms and instead of helping me with them, i got put on a contract (i would get kicked out if i didnt follow it), which is so scary because all i needed was help and someone there for me. the contract stated no self harming behaviors, no eating disorder behaviors (i have a past of that), etc. i was still being left out of the group of the girls in the house which was making my bpd urges increase and instead of acting on them i talked to staff. the next day i was kicked out because i apparently broke the contract. in all reality, i never broke the contract. yes i had urges but i reached out for help instead of acting on them. and i got kicked out for that. also to mention the staff was extremely unprofessional. one of the staff at the womens house texted multiple past clients, which in my opinion is very inappropriate. this place is seriously awful when it comes to other mental illnesses and all they care about is the money. my advice to anyone with a coexisting mental health disorder: go somewhere else. find someplace that will help and treat you instead of making you feel like a villain.
