Fantastic facility. Clean, beautiful, modern and stress free. Floatation is so incredibly healing, everyone should try it.

Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience. This was my first time in a float so I admit I'm not sure what it's supposed to be like. When we arrived, the entire introduction was just "here are earplugs if you want them, here is a headrest, shower before and after your float session." That was it, a 10 second intro and off we went. First thing I noticed was hair on the wall inside the float and random specks in the tub. I go back out when I realize I will definitely need the ear plugs and headrest. It took me another few minutes to figure out how to use the headrest float ring, as I have never seen anything like it. Once you're in the float, there's 3 buttons. 2 out of the 3 were not working for me. I could not turn on the music, and I could not turn off the blue light. I could only use the star button. I finally decided to stop messing around and just try to float and relax. I actually felt that the float was TOO strong -- like my shoulders were too lifted by the water and it was tense instead of relaxing. I also then got extremely hot and had to open the tank door to let some air in. I then splashed water on my face at one point, only to experience burning in my eyes (which I realize may sound obvious to some, but I really had no clue what I was getting into). I realize I was doing this wrong, but I really think a more thorough explanation beforehand would have helped. I also wasn't sure if there was a set time for me to shower after the float, so I ended up getting out before the time was up to make sure I had enough time to shower properly. Once we left, I asked my partner for his experience. He said his pod smelled like throw up (mine didn't). He said that his light button didn't work, but the music and star one did. He said the temperature in his could have been warmer actually (which matches what different review here says about them being different temperatures). HOWEVER, he said that after 20 minutes he was finally able to relax. For that, I gave this an extra star.

Such an amazing experience. Spacious float tanks, ear plugs, a halo for your head to float and teas afterwards. Best experience I had in New York. It’s 2nd floor, lots of space to wait (if someone wants to meet you). Friendly staff.
