Not a Hilton and the accommodations are basic, but the bed and pillows are comfortable. The room has a microwave, TV and refrigerator.

I'm really torn with this review because it was awesome that they took small dogs, I called hotels in Spring Green, Dodgeville and Richland Center and not one would take pets nor make a suggestion of any other hotel that I could call. I was disappointed that local businesses seemed so unwilling to support each other. I digress, the issues with the Starlite were the person checking me in was polite but clearly mistrustful. She seemed dubious that it was only 1 guest and a dog. It made me feel less than welcomed and comfortable. The room was clean but outdated and very sparse, 2 plastic cups, no ice bucket, the bathroom sink, while clean, was so old it had a worn spot clear to the iron under the porcelain. Bottom line, I and my dog had a clean bed to sleep in out of the elements and that was good enough.

Absolutely terrible staff. They didn’t make our beds or give us fresh towels each day. Was in town for an event, got a room with two beds Incase someone in the group didn’t have a room somewhere and they told me to check them in at the front desk but nobody would be there after 10pm so when we got back at 11:30 I couldn’t check them in then the next day the staff yelled at me and called me a liar because I said this. Super rude.

I give this motel a minus minus 10 rating. I reserved a room with my sister, for an evening stay. When we arrived at the hotel, later in the evening there was no attendant and the office doors were lock. We were not made away that there was a curfew and had to arrive and check in at a certain time. We ended up having to seek lodging elsewhere. When we went back to the Starlite to make sure our credit card will not be bill, the owner/manager said he would not credit the account. He said we should of called. He claimed that he told us we had to check in by 9:00 or we should have called which he did not. We paid for a service we did not received. I am totally appalled by the arrogance and lack of customer service that was provided by this establishment. The motel is to receive a zero rating.
