After trying several other companies early in the year, we have found Pool Scouts technicians to be very knowledgeable and always answer questions about pool chemicals and care. They do a good job taking care of our pool and we have not had any issues this season. Anytime we call they actually answer the phone! Highly recommended.

No, we do not service above ground pools.
We brush the walls and stairs, net the surface debris, vacuum the bottom, clean strainer baskets, check and balance chemicals. Basically, we keep you swimming in clear, clean healthy water!
We perform basic equipment repairs or replacements on pumps, filters, salt systems, and auto-chlorinators. Note, we only perform those types of repairs for customers on a recurring service plan.
Yes, you can, but realize that the pool still needs weekly care. If there is nothing done for 3 weeks during the summer, you will end up with a green, dirty pool on the 3rd to 4th week. Consider this: a weekly service will take you out of the picture (Pool Scouts provides the labor and the chemicals), a bi-weekly service will help keep the pool clean with you still putting in some effort, and a monthly service gives you a thorough cleaning and balanced water, but you are still putting in the majority of the effort to maintain.
Unfortunately, no. Our service is guaranteed to keep you in clear, clean and healthy water and we back each service with a Scout guarantee. We choose our chemicals to back up that promise and cannot provide our guarantee with other chemical products.
In North Carolina, your best bet for opening your pool is at the end of March to late April. When the air temperature gets up to 65 degrees or higher, your pool will start to grow algae and will end up costing you more to open if you wait until May.
