Be prepared to wait over an hour for a bus service in the morning and in the evenings. Especially on Friday evenings. Dispatch will hang up on you as not to deal with difficult questions. They also tell their customers that they don't care how long they are waiting. For $340 a month service is horrible. Find another way to NYC! This post has one star because I had to make a selection. I'm actually rating them zero stars

I suffer through the misery of commuting on Academy's buses from Route 9 in NJ to Wall Street NYC. Buses are often late or canceled without notice. It seems like a gamble every day, hoping that an Academy bus will show up near the time the schedule says it will arrive, that is if it shows up at all, or if there are any seats available when it finally shows up. There is no customer service to speak of. When I call to complain about cancelled buses, late buses, standing-room only buses, etc the employees express absolutely no concern whatsoever. When I email to ask questions, my messages go unanswered. I’ve written probably 5 complaint emails and gotten 0 responses of any kind. Academy is just a terrible bus company - the worst I have ever experienced. If you can avoid riding an Academy bus, do so! It will save your sanity and give you a realistic chance of getting to work or home on time.

No that area is directly covered by New Jersey Transit Academy does not start until the Lakewood terminal
