You can call the sheriff's office but we do not have an animal control officer for the county. The mountain city animal shelter is limited in their response. We try to handle the calls the best way we can. One other option is to contact the rescue dog sanctuary. https://www.facebook.com/mgrescuedog/

Do you spay and neuter animals outside of ones submitted to the shelter?

No, we do not. But if you live in Johnson County there are low cost spay/neuter vouchers through the Humane Society. Call 423-727-9286.

Our Adoption fees include all vaccines, spay/neuter, Heartworm and feline fiv/felv testing. Also deworming and flea prevention. It is $65 for dogs and $45 for cats.
