I had gotten charged with possession after parking and looking up directions to a friend's in My City, police said they got a call saying someone had looked suspicious. I was coming from Boone, NC so new to the area, unfortunately they smelled pot (I had not been smoking) when they approached and arrested me. Apparently, from the officers in the book-in room, I could have just gotten a ticket and been back home fine. My Miranda rights were not read to me during or after arrest. The nightshift officers are much friendlier and EFFICIENT than the dayshift, I didn't get to call until more than 24 hours after being placed, the day shift officers kept saying "it will be a minute" and then would converse with each other about unrelated subjects. Also I heard that the officers had records of multiple jail era listed as in the system but not in holding, and others in holding... but not in the system. I asked locals and they said this county is very corrupt, if you're in My City, just stay out of trouble.

Hello, if you're wanting to send food to an inmate, there are two ways to do so. You can go to mycarepack.com and order a "care package" to be sent to them, or you can add money to the inmate's commissary account at smartdeposit.com or by calling 1 (866) 394-0490. When you add money to someone's account, this allows them to order commissary and they can pick what to order. Commissary delivers every Thursday, the inmate must order by Tuesday to get it on the Thursday of the same week.
