I switched to them after some bad experiences with Balbi, (who I would Absolutely warn against). Ayers is VERY difficult to get on the phone and do not call back when you leave messages. I had some issues when I first switched to them that did get ironed out, but I spoke to them almost 2 weeks ago about paying extra to pick up a toilet I switched out in my house. They said no problem, an extra $10 and pick up would be 7/25. I had help to bring it the curb almost 10 days before. It's still sitting there, not picked up and I've left messages and called for the past two days and no response or call back. I just paid, but am thinking of maybe just cancelling. With the gas surcharges and stuff it's now just over $45/month. Very unprofessional to leave me hanging like that.

If I could give them negative stars I would. When I decided to go with Ayers sanitation it seemed perfect they offered bulk pick up with no extra cost but sadly I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before getting them. Within a couple of months of having it I have already had an issue. I was told bulk pick up is every 2nd Tuesday of the month I called ahead and asked if they would be willing to pick up a couch and the very unprofessional lady said it would be easier for them if we could have it taken out by the couch company with no complaints I did not put my couch out. A month later I put out a small dresser and they did not take it stating the truck was too full after receiving a phone call stating they would pick it up within the next two days it is now 4 days later and the dresser is still sitting. After I left many messages asking for a call back I received a call from Joanne and within the first sentence she cut me off saying “I had to listen to all your messages you will listen to me now” the phone call dragged on with her saying there was a death in the family and no one has been in the office for days as well as their truck broke down. The call ended with her saying I needed to get over it or cancel my membership. I would not recommend this “small family business” at all.

These drivers need to slow down. There is no reason to be driving so fast down a development where there are children waiting for the bus. Absolutely careless and dangerous drivers.
