Dixie Park has an outdoor work area and a hike and bike trail including a wooded hike and bike trail that doesn't show up on Google maps. Southbelt Hike and Bike Trail ties to Dixie Park trail. There are two other community Parks between these two parks, Bishop Park and Clear Brook City Park. Four parks in one trail. I will definitely be riding the trail again.

not the smoothest sidewalk but very scenic if you like trees! i highlyrecommend walking through the right side of the park when it’s not too hot out because there’s no shade and strolling through the left side of the park on a hot or sunny day for it is full of shade and forestry

This park is connected to several others along a major trail that is 6+ miles. Great for bikes and walks. No four wheelers, or motor vehicles allowed. Dog must be leashed. Sadly the trail is gravel and not smooth trail so not good for skates. Overall great place for dogs, kids and shade with older growth trees.

Great dog friendly trail! You’ll see many people walking their dogs, riding bike, and jogging. Perfect track if you are looking for a new spot to work out outdoors.

Not sure, I haven't been to the entire park. It is huge. If you live in the area. At Harkey and Magnolia in Pearland, there is a nice lake that people fish at all the time. They have signs showing the different kind they have in there. Only thing it does say beware of alligators. But always people there fishing.
No, there’s a sign at the front of the trail that says no motorized vehicles on the trail.
The wooded area and the circle area just outside the wooded area is maybe two miles. But, this is only a fraction of it. The entire trail is about 6 miles if you do round trip. It starts and finishes at Blackhawk and Hall, but has other entrances along the way. Hcp1.net/trails/southbelt for more info. This has the benches and parking areas of the other entrances in the map as well.
Need to coordinate that with the parks and rec dept
