Every year it's simply beautiful but this year we went and there was no water in the lake..and all the trees and surrounding plants were dieing...we decided to find another place to go.....very disappointed!

Nice lake to go to. Lake level can get pretty low during the summer months. Bring your own pop up shade canopy when lake level is low. Fishing is good if you can find them.

We were there the day of the lightning and thunderstorms. But there were already 4 fires that you could see smoke rising. But they were in the distance. ADidn't stick around because the storm was right on top of us. Lightning was too close. The resavior was drained due to work on the dam.
Water level kinda sucked. Creating mud before reaching water & while in water with grandchildren.it was our first camping trip and other than being with them was very disappointed by the condition.
