Found this gem while visiting Banner Elk. We spent an hour here perusing the shelves and reading. My kids played puzzles and games in the fabulous children’s area. They have a plethora of books for all ages and reading levels and even have story time. The volunteers were friendly and helpful. So glad Banner Elk has this resource!

The Banner Elk Book Exchange, unfortunately, does not have a phone number. Someone should be on shift from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., the volunteers are rarely absent!

Will the Book Exchange be open again? Are the times on this site correct? I have referred to this site but keep finding it closed. Is there some Way to call before I drive over just to find it closed again
