Typically ride here on bikes using the French Broad greenway. Nice spot to hang out and grab a drink. There's a few picnic tables and river/creek access.

Parked here to ride my bike along the French Broad Greenway. Nice spot to park at the south end of the greenway, not a lot of parking so get there early. If you’re looking for a picnic spot there are several more places along the greenway that would be more comfortable. If cycling do not expect to do your top speed. The greenway is a nice place with a lot of walkers who will appreciate your patience in getting around them and letting them know audibly that you are passing them.

Bee Nice gardens and landscaping
Popular canoe and kayak put in one the French Broad. Very limited parking quite crowded on the weekends. Put in is a steep set of railroad tie steps. Not an easy place to launch solo

No pool. Located next to French Broad river. You can kayak or go tubing using French Broad Outfitters. River is not suitable for swimming.
