Great place to hit the gym ,take a swim or play Basketball. Very Family friendly!

Rick Matthews is a wonderful director and much of his staff has been very helpful to me. Chris Whitt has been a delightful person especially in terms of how he relates to the nonprofit Rivers way. The way that the YMCA of Bristol has cultivated Rivers way and help the disabled people in that organization is wonderful and should be commended.

I love this place. It's a very clean environment and everyone is friendly and helpful.

The CEO is turning the gym around in a very positive way! The reconstruction and renovations to this YMCA have been long over due. It's nice to see your membership payments being put back into the facility!

Yes a very large pool and a hot tub
Just go to the ymca n reactivate it
It all depends but maybe you could qualify for a grant . This is such a great facility for family's .
Yes. Check their monthly schedule of classes. Boxing will be in the blue room.
Great question! Since 1968!
Membership prices vary based on whether you get a family or single account, and we offer a sliding scale based on income. You can view our full rates at https://www.bristolymca.net/membership/membership-rates/
Our Stay & Play is for 6 weeks-5 years old, the Kid's Gym is for 5-12 years old during staffed hours. Outside of the staff times parent's are welcome to bring their children of any age to the Kid's Gym as long as they stay to supervise
It depends on your income and if it's a family membership or single.
I think they do that because they do have swim meets and events usually during the weekends and also probably to give workers a break
It's $10/day for gym access for non-members
That is at the YWCA, not the Y
I dont think they have specific classes I would call to make sure, however they have a day care where kids can play.
We are on the public bus line but the Y does not provide transportation except for our After School participants.
Their prices are listed at bristolymca.net/downloads/programs/fitness-and-health/personal-training.pdf
Yes
An adult day pass is $10, a youth day pass is $5 but they must be escorted by someone who is 18 years old. We do offer a fitness pass which is 12 visits and must be used within 30 days. A fitness pass can be shared between individuals.
An adult is $10 and a child is $5, any child guest must be escorted by an adult.
They actualy have two indoor pools a lap pool and a theropy pool. The lap pool is 9 ft deep at one end and the theropy pool is 4 ft at its deepest
I am sorry about the greeter, this is a new program for us. We do accept the AARP Medicare Supplement plan by United Healthcare, they pay half of your membership and we draft you for the remainder.
Unfortunately i had no luck with finding a workout friend. Most seem to go to the aerobics, yoga, etc classes. Not to actually work out weights etc.. I just went at it alone for about a year. But even so it is a great place, lots to offer. I love the fact they offer to watch your children while you work out. They also have a friend discount called join together, family plan for all house members. If i joined a gym again i would go with the Y if in this area as other gyms don't offer all the Y does for the price.
They have a lot of classes but I would call. Also, if they don't offer it at Bristol then KP may have them.
This one is in the Y to Y exchange. Therefore, if you are a Y member elsewhere you can use this facility for free for about 6-10 visits a year. My brother in law is a member in Lexington and he uses it every time he visits. I also just double checked with a friend who works there and she confirmed that.
Yes from 9-1 no toddler time
