The first picture is when my fiancé and I bought our Bonsai from Bob a little over a year ago and the 2 other photos are when I went to get it repotted this past June. It is thriving and I appreciate Bobs help with getting it angled better and repotted. I love going to Kifu Bonsai and seeing all of the amazing trees. I will continue coming back and look forward to some of the classes (:

Today was my first visit to Kifu Bonsai and will definitely not be the last. Master Bob Mahler has created a most inviting and peaceful setting. The nursery has a wide array of trees from raw material to admirable collector level bonsai. Looking forward to my next visit.

Bob was great walking me through the process of turning a Japanese red maple bought at a garden nursery into a Bonsai tree. From the actual daily care to wiring every branch and then shaping the branches into a aesthetically pleasing shape. He was very patient and clear in his directions and I will be going back for additional 2 hour classes in the near future.

Friendly staff, beautiful trees and koi, nice selection overall. When I was there they were in the process of removing the trees from greenhouses so it was not as "set up" as it could have been. Will definitely be back!
