Unfortunately I have been in and out of this hospital over the years between my late father and now my uncle. The care and staff have unfortunately stayed the same, low quality care, quick release, zero sympathy for patient care and indifference to client suffering. With my father we transfered him out as quickly as possible to other hospitals where he was treated significantly better and the staff were far more knowledgeable and caring. Unfortunately my Uncle has been there for 6 weeks now, he came in extremely ill, was released without any diagnosis or real testing then sent back 2 days later with the exact same issue. Then we had hospice knocking on the door everyday rather then testing or getting any real answers. Forward to week six, still no real answers, no direction and as we approach what appears to be the end we are seemingly left with what I can only describe as indifference. As a family member we take some of the blame for not transferring him out sooner.

My daughter and I on 10:8:22 took my 4 year old grandson to their emergency room. They immediately took our information and attended to my grandson. The doctor and nurse saw Gabriel right away and did extremely comprehensive testing which put my daughter and at ease. Very professional! Thank you,

Total disconnect between doctors at patients expense. Getting cleared for discharge is like a three stooges routine. Awful all around.

I am in the hospital now and feel as if I am imposing. I have made a living in customer service and this hospital does not even deserve a nod. Sad, when you are sick, someone’s kindness means the world.

Please call the hospital. I am patient and not part of the staff.
I have been the the new ER many times for both familybers and myself and would highly recommend the excellent standard of care we all received. Perhaps you had an extended wait because ot was very busy and they had to triage. I went in w a possible stroke for a sibling recently and they were all over the situation- with an excellent outcome. I waited for a recent omicron visit but, had met w a nurse almost immediately and then was in a comfortable setting until my name was called- got my own room and private bathroom and the prompt medical attention I needed to sail through it.
It all depends on how busy they are. It's not really predictable.
Yes
3rd floor is ccu. Treats all different people
This appears to be a troll. I've been here multiple times, for procedures myself and a wide range for extended family members. It is a dependable cutting-edge hospital, and I prefer it to both Community in Toms River and Jersey Shore in Neptune. They have always been attentive, whether in the ER, for in-patient treatments, physical rehab, or even hospice... that crank reviews allegation wouldn't have taken place in the worst early days of Covid.
Valet parking is for emergency only.
There is an outpatient lot just outside the outpatient entrance or you can us valet or the garage.
Yes. On the first floor very near the cardiac rehab center they have outpatient pulmonary testing. Depending on the exact test, for example a spirogram, you'll probably need to be referenced by a doctor to get an appointment but they should be able to help you out. You can always call the hospital directly and ask to be transferred for the respiratory department to see exactly what tests I can and cannot perform for you. I wish you luck.
I'm sorry I don't know, but I suggest you call the lab for questions regarding this.
Yes. Register on Hackensack Meridian website
Some say they were able to go in.... others said security kept them out!
You could probably just contact the medical records department and request a copy
Yes they do
If you go to their site there is a list .
Turn onto Nautilus Drive and use the Emergency Room entrance on the right and follow the signs to the front of the building.
People lack common sense or feel entitled. But in all fairness, if there was no one within 6 or so feet of him, he may just wanted to take a break from the mask for a minute. If there were people near him at the time then my first comment is probably more accurate sadly.
You did the right thing by presenting your insurance information
I dont know , I was a visitor to the area and dont know any Drs there. If it were me, I would try another OBGYN and I wd not call the hospital, I wd call the OBGYNS office.

And
Most hospitals/emergency rooms take all insurances in the same state, plus Medicaid & Medicare. If you question it though, you would be better off checking with your insurance provider to make sure it will be accepted, especially if you provider is out-of-state.
I work in dietary at SOMC. However, I'm fairly certain the way Google runs this is that anyone who has the answer to a question can answer.
Nurses and nurses aides are supposed to assist with meals if the patient so requires. If they are not, please direct concerns to the floor's unit secretary.
