iwas there for ablood transfusion. from the minute iwalked in ,every one was very, very nice to me . iwas really scared, as i didnt know what to expect. but they made it very nice for me. thank you so much to my nurse rhonda. and to the rest of the staff.. i will go back to lake norman regional again ,if need be.

My Dad went there for a possible heart attack, they did a procedure to attempt to put a stent in the heart by going through a vein near his groin, then he was back when his leg and foot started swelling and turning black. They saw him in the Emergency Room, did some testing, then released him. He went back in and they admitted him on a Saturday, taking him off some medications, and attempting to test and support him with a therapist getting him up to moving him around. The leg and foot didn't look any different when they released him on Wednesday. The care he got was not even acceptable! His room had a broken toilet, his shower had other things in it, so he couldn't even attempt to wash, he was never given even a sponge bath, or given toothpaste, a toothbrush, or even soap, until I got there on Monday and my Mom and I washed him, having to ask multiple times for each item. It was just impossible! They didn't even change the bed! This is just unacceptable! Also, when the doctors came in, they didn't even introduce themselves or even give feedback on what was happening. I would suggest that anyone having an option to go elsewhere, definitely do it! Statesville and Huntersville both have hospitals that I've heard are exceptional.

I go here every year and They are usually pretty fast and personable. This time I truly think they forgot about me and the receptionist was not so friendly. That is why I gave 4 stars. It matters!
