To Whom It May Concern, I am writing this in the name of my father, my brothers, and myself. My father was discharged from Jersey Shore hospital with a recommendation to go to a rehabilitation center. We were advised to send my father to the Concord. As my father has dementia it was necessary that someone be with him all the time and this responsibility was assumed by my brother from Europe who came to help out, my other brother, and myself. Between us, we arranged that there was someone there both day and night. Thus it happened that we were able to observe from up close the care, concern and professionalism of all the wonderful nursing staff and therapists, and how they help each other out and work as a team. Unfortunately I don’t know all their names and would not like to leave anyone out, but I thank them all very very much. Also special thanks to Jay Kramer for all his help and running the place so well, and to Mrs Zellinger for her services and help. With much gratitude, Tzvi Goldman son of Jacob Goldman, Room C30.

I am sitting on the plane after a very busy and trying intensive 10 days in the US. My father needed hip surgery, so I came running from Europe. It's a shame that I don't remember names (hope it's not a sign) because I feel that I should really mention many of the staff by name. My father's situation warranted someone being with him 24 hours. I saw the Concord at 3 in the afternoon and at 3 in the morning. All three shifts, when no one was really looking. I must say that what I saw was people going beyond just what they had to do. I saw people showing respect for the patients and their privacy. Not always easy in such a situation. There is a feeling of people wanting to help people. A type of undercurrent of upbeat energy. I know that all of you are trying to give the very best possible care. You are succeeding. It makes me less worried leaving my father as he I know that he is in good hands. Please give them my warmest compliments.

My father, who is 100 years old, was a patient at Concord. When he got to Concord from the hospital he was not doing so well and in a wheelchair. Presently, he has moved on. Dad is walking and enjoying his life. The staff is tops!!! Each one deserves a shout out, but the list is too long. So a HUGE THANK YOU to all the staff for your exemplary work. A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to Jay, Josephine, Lori, Emma, Elyce, Charles, Pierre, Nicole, Leah, Cynthia…you are sent here from the heavens above!!
