I personally had an issue with an online order. The system cancel my order and it could take 5 business days for a refund. I escalated the situation to corporate since I had 2 gift cards involve for over 3k. The corporate personal informed that I can go to any Home Depot and get my 2 gift cards reissues. I came to my local store and the lady who assisted was on a Denial mode since I arrived. First at all, listen to my issues and try to understand the situation and lets works something out !!!!!! This never happens -!!! She has the courage to said “ Have your mother-in-Law got to home depot and reissues the 2 gift cards in Jacksonville, FL” its easy to say things like that when you are not putting yourself in the customer’s shoes. I’m talking about 2 family member that just bought a new house and they need appliances and due to a system error; we are paying the consequences. Corporate people were willing to helps- Retail employees at this location did not even allow me to express myself.
