I don't work for Amazon and Never will just based on what I see daily in Amazon warehouses. I am a trucker who delivers their loads across the country. To go inside this particular warehouse, drivers have to request a Guest Badge in exchange for driver license until our permanent badge is made. My badge is made and a month later the security staff has not done their job and handed it to me. My company is aware too. Security companies and Amazon staff are not only lazy but they think they are above everyone and always have power trips. I'm a Marine Corps veteran and staff and security don't even seem to have the minimum respect for veterans. After coming here over 100 times and knowing all security guards, i forgot my drivers license at home one overnight shift but I carry my Government Issued military ID that is an accepted form of Identification in all government buildings, courts, airports, etc and the lady from security who claimed to be the "supervisor" (lady seems to have no professionalism and experience in life and/or security at all), told me that she wasn't going to let me in and that it was my fault that I left my driver's license home. I already had gone inside another Amazon warehouse, picked up a load and i was supposed to unload here. I ended up just going back and having guys from my company that were inside unloading my truck. Even the receiving staff said that security is bad here. Amazon has little to no communication between warehouse to warehouse and they are lazy depending on the staff. All she had to do was look at my military ID and my phone on the Amazon relay app and find my information and allow me in or do her job and hurry up and give me my badge. Most Amazon staff and warehouse are amazing people but still super demanding and lack of leadership.
