Dr.Hill and his staff (Crystal) were so attentive and kind. He explained everything in terms that I would be able to understand. I would recommend to any one who is looking for a orthopedic doctor.

I highly recommend Dr. Hill and his staff. Dr.Hill performed total knee replacement on me this past fall and he did a wonderful job and was so very caring about my surgery and my post care. He explains everything step by step and makes sure you are comfortable with any procedure he may be performing for you. His staff is also very good and very helpful. If you have any orthopedic needs I highly recommend Dr J David Hill & his staff.

I have been to many Ortho Drs in the Union county area and this is by far the best, clean, friendly ,state of the art facility and Dr Hill is awesome and listens when you tell him what’s going on instead of just trying to push pain meds. I would recommend Dr Hill and his staff to anyone with any Orthopedic needs.

Questions & Answers

My husband has Dupuytren's in his hands. Have you performed surgery for this before?

Janet Pair | Oct 14, 2021
John David Hill, MD | Oct 14, 2021

Dupuytren’s contracture distorts normal anatomy as it progresses. This complicates the surgical intervention when surgery becomes necessary. As such, I recommend a referral to a hand surgery specialist for this surgery.

Dr. Hill do you perform surgeries on ankles??

John Ellison | Oct 15, 2019
John David Hill, MD | Oct 15, 2019

Dear Mr. Ellison, I do perform surgeries on ankles. The most frequent scenario is in the case of an ankle fracture which is unstable. X-rays at the time of the injury or in the office help to determine a stable from an unstable fracture. The next most common scenario is in the case of chronic ankle instability in athletes. In this instance, a simple ankle sprain fails to heal leading to chronic instability. When non-operative measures fail, surgery is often the best answer and frequently offers excellent results. There are many instances where I am not the best surgeon for an ankle problem. These usually involve chronic foot and ankle problems. Even in those instances, I am able to offer many non-operative solutions which are often successful. If unsuccessful, I refer these patients to my orthopaedic surgery colleagues. Thanks for your interest!
