So disappointed! This place could be so awesome if the owner would put forth the effort to do so. I've visited twice within a week and have been so disappointed. 1st trip both items we orded weren't available, pizza & grouper basket. The 2nd time we visited, we brought friends with us, as we were walking in saw someone with a pizza box so tried to order pizza again. This time I was told that," we stopped serving pizza a hour ago." 7:30pm ,our friend ordered grouper and it wasn't cooked properly most of it was raw.

This was our selection to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. The drive was a little over one hour from our home and it was worth the trip. The host was able to seat us very promptly and with an outside table sporting an umbrella and fantastic views of lake James. Our waitress brought table settings and menues while taking drink orders. She was very kind to all of us and very attentive during our meal. Serving sizes I thought were very good. Our son had a shrimp meal with sides and if I recall he said there were 12 or 14 shrimp. My fried flounder meal had four good sized filets (the menu indicated only 2) each was nicely cooked and not oily at all. The green bean side almost tasted as if they were grilled, very nice touch. The sweet tea had just a bit more sugar than what I use, but very refreshing. Great marina and boaters atmosphere. There is live music although not while we visited. I would make another visit to the Bear Creek Marina it is thumbs up. If my review helped you please give me a like. And God bless you.

My friends and I ordered 2 different pizzas. Crust was not done, tasted like cardboard, sauce was just tomato paste, order pepperoni & no pepperoni. Will not order pizza again.
