The Service of Darkness is a special service where we remember what Jesus did for us in dying on the cross. We start with several candles lit on stage to represent the light of Jesus in this world. As we read about Jesus' last moments on the cross candles are extinguished eventually leading up to the death of Jesus and all candles being extinguished. This represents the darkness Jesus experienced on the cross bearing the sin of the world. The service consists of music and scripture reading focusing on what Jesus did in that moment.
The children will be singing in the main service on December 12, 2021.
Yes, we are back to three services: 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 AM.
