They rip people off left and right,they charge you a daily fee to store your boat while they are fixing it ! Prices for repairs are outrageous. Garbage is never cleared from cans no one there to recover the carts the marina store is never open and even when it is they have nothing. No one from corporate ever answers phone and they don’t call you back when I left a message for the COO ! Stay far away from this place !

Lippincott Charters would like to thank Charleston City Boatyard for its prompt attention to our Jeanneau 45.2, Providence. George Durst the service manager personally met me at the dock and caught my lines and guided me into the lift slip. Donny the lift operator ensured Providence was lifted safely and pressure washed. Then blocked with 5 sets of stands. I was back in the water in a week after having my bottom painted, and routine maintenance to my max-prop. I’ll be back next year. Thanks again to all the staff at Charleston City Boatyard.

They don't listen to the customers. they leave your boat in the water for days before taking them out and then don't assume responsivity for not taking them out on time. not sure if they changed the management or not but they don't care

BEWARE. We needed some work done and we’re quoted what we believed was a little high, but fair price in this turbulent economy. However, once we received the invoice, the price had increased over 60 percent from the quote. While some unforeseen overage could be expected, for a professional to be off by so much on a straightforward repair is ridiculous. Please exercise caution when dealing with this company.
