Least knowledgeable employees. Called to update something in my policy and the person who was "helping" me over the phone did not know what to do. Everytime I asked a question, I was able to here how he was passing my question to other person. It was so unprofessional.

Worst insurance or customer service group I have ever experienced. Cancelled my auto policy in October 2021 -The team has continued to charge my account for six months, totaling over $1,000. I have called every month, stating that they do not have permission to charge any card previously on file, and that my family needs to be refunded the charges. To this date, I have not received a refund, and just received a letter that my policy has been renewed through September 2022. Zero stars and and would not recommend this group to my worst enemy.

No - The DMV in CT essentially requires the insurance company to send Policy Numbers, VIN Numbers, Vehicle description and Liability limits over. The communication is to confirm that each registered vehicle has State Minimum insurance on it at all times while being operated. Generally, if a car is junked you would either turn in the plates - which cancel out the registration - the DMV gives you up to 10-days to complete this, or you would transfer the plate to a replacement vehicle. If either of these things occur it will not be an issue, if a vehicle was junked and no longer being operated on the road, you just have to show that you no longer owned vehicle at the time the insurance was removed from the vehicle.
