It's small, but there's lot of variety at Hildacy. Trails, open fields of grass, streams...pretty much whatever natural spaces you're into. It's not a popular spot so you can expect some privacy even in summer. Free entrance and parking

Beautiful preserve and a nice area to walk and be in nature. I even got to help plant trees!

Fantastic trails. Most excellent.

Wonderful little area in the heart of Delco. Relatively easy hiking trails. Next time I'll need to bring my binoculars since it looks like an excellent site for birding.

Totally, these are well maintained trails.
Hi, William. Thanks for the visit and question. Serpentine rock is very soft and doesn't generally appear as a traditional "outcrop" like you'd see with diabase or other rock.
Sure thing! Crum Creek meanders through the preserve, and there are two large wetland areas close to the parking lot that are teeming with wildlife. Please don't disturb the critters, of course. Thanks for asking!
Hi, Johnny. Hunting, trapping, and fishing are prohibited at Hildacy Preserve and all of Natural Lands' preserves. Thanks for asking. You can learn more here: https://natlands.org/visit/before-you-visit/
