Yes. Some outside shots were filmed there. The inside of the Grill on the show was filmed in a studio. The real Grill looks a little different inside. The bar and the fireplace look the same. There are 2 chairs in the real Grill that have Alaric and Damon's name on them.

We were there last week and everything is open, Mystic Grill has at least a hour wait time but it's worth it, we gave them our number and walked around the square until they text us 👍

You want get to meet anyone. The grill isna three story building with the most decilous food. Underneath is the shop where you can view clothes worn and signed by the stars on the Vampire Diaries. You can buy your own stake, an autographed photo, and other gifts that relate to the show.

No. But in the alley shop underneath they do. If you eat there first you get a coupon for the shop. Bread and butter has blood bags and so does the other shop across from the clock tower.

Inside the restaurant. On the square and various other areas in the town. The guided tour is booked until March of next year. We got lucky because a few people backed out and we got their slots.
