All I can say is, if you’re a foodie and you haven’t tried this place, you’re missing out in a big way. Most of the time when I say “pimento cheeseburger” to someone, they crinkle up their nose. But then they try it and inevitably say it’s the best burger they’ve ever had. Go get yourself some. You’ll be glad you did.

Wow!! I didn't expect such a great breakfast. Parking availability sucks but the food is awesome. Just look at it. I wish I could have gone back today. I will definitely be back, and soon. It's a small place. You order first and then sit. So if there is a line out the door. There may not be a wait to sit. Just a wait to order. Go in. Ask for a menu, decide and get in line to order. Get your table number and wait for a wonderful meal. You will not be disappointed!! Enjoy!

The last two times we've traveled through Athens we've stopped here for brunch. Always a short wait (10 mins or so) but well worth it. Delicious food and good size portions!

Highly disappointed. Mama's Boy is one of my favorites; an Athens staple when I'm in town. However, the system for seating customers at this location is the worst I've ever seen. We waited an hour and 45 minutes and never even ate. We checked in with a party of 4 at 10:15 am and were told the wait was about 40 minutes. By noon when multiple parties that arrived after us (over an hour after us) were seated ahead of us, we decided to leave. This system seats parties based on size so they were seating multiple parties of two rather than putting two tables together to seat people in the order they arrived. A party of 8 that arrived an hour after us was seated before we were. I've never seen anything like this! I find it interesting that their website proudly advertises “first come, first served”. We are from Savannah and I had been looking forward to visiting Mama's Boy for weeks. I can't express how utterly disappointed I am.
