Great cocktails and happy hour specials. They have good food too! Some kind of spicy shrimp, hamburgers, and the chicken and waffles were great, try the pineapple jalapeño margaritas or the burgundy bourbon cocktail.

Waited over an hour, never got food

I had a very unfortunate experience at FIVE Athens on my wife’s birthday. We arrived just after 6:30 on a Friday and were sat immediately which was a pleasant surprise. However the pleasantries ended there. We ordered the pan chicken and the cheeseburger. There was a 5 top as well as 8 top that arrived after us which were both served before us. Over an hour after we ordered our meals we were finally served. The chicken was over cooked and borderline burnt and the burger was cold. We were comp’d two drinks, which was appreciated. That being said we will not be returning, I explained how unsatisfactory our experience had been but the two drinks where all that was offered to us.

Perfectly fine, there's plenty of other good restaurants to go to in downtown Athens. Nice live jazz band at brunch though
