Prepaid for a rental car for the week, but once On the highway the car began shaking and pulling. Steering wheel was hard to turn and control. Huge stains on back seat with foul odor. Picked up the car a day prior to my trip. Wasted money on a Lyft and this rental that sat in my drive way. Then upon returning early the worker at the desk informed me that I would have to call customer service to receive my funds since I prepaid, and the customer service rep gave me such a hard time on refunding my money stating that I “already paid”. Won’t ever rent from budget again, wasted time and money.

Guess which rental car company I'll try to never make a reservation with again? The photo I attached was taken last night and it show the other rental desks open and operational while Budget's was closed. I called Budget earlier in the day yesterday to update flight details and was assured that I would be able to pick up my vehicle when I arrived. However, I ended up taking a cab and I was not the only one with a reservation at Budget yesterday who ended up standing behind an empty counter. Moreover, while patiently waiting for nothing behind the desk, I called Budget back and got through to a representative only to be transfered to a non-working phone number.
